We ordered A Thote Sone from Asian Bowl and found a piece of steel inside the fried beans. We were very lucky to notice it before swallowing it. This is a serious food safety issue. If a customer accidentally swallowed something like this, it could cause serious injury and negatively affect your restaurant.

Had an amazing meal here and the owner is a super friendly kind and genuine man who is very helpful explaining the dishes and their origins. Loved the Latpat Thoke salad and the noodle dish that was recommended. Also, byob is ok so kinda icing on the cake.

Recommendations- Gin Thoke, Grilled Pork Neck, Latphat/Lahpet Thoke. Otherwise, A Kyaw Sone, if you don't mind a bit of oiliness, and the Pa Zun Chin, if you like shrimp paste cakes. Very reasonably priced. Removed the intro/dish descriptions for Google Review room. To drink, I noticed a tea being ordered at another table and got an iced one, which I think was a very reasonable $3.50 or similar. It was refreshing and tasty with a mild sweetness from condensed milk and a strong tea flavor, and I would recommend it if you're a fan of similar drinks from the surrounding countries/South East Asia. Our only smaller dish that wasn't a salad was the A Kyaw Sone. As with most other dishes, there are small and large sizes, and we got the large, which was $14.99. The portion was quite large, with four different types of fritters and a very tasty dipping sauce, which had some sweetness and spiciness. In terms of the fritters, I was happy that the batter was light, but I did find them to be just a bit oily, with this especially being the case for the fried clump of greens. I would not recommend the pad Thai. I ordered it and received plain noodles (pictured) and assumed they somehow forgot to add sauce. When I called to ask, they told me pad Thai does not come with sauce. There is some flavor, but not like I receive any time I get pad Thai anywhere else. Also, I ordered the lunch combo box and did not get any of the sides advertised (edamame, spring roll, dumpling).

Very authentic place for solid Burmese food. Had delivery first and the lunch box blew me away. The soup that came with the rice is the best. Next went in person to get some a thoke sone and chin Naung kyaw. Everything is 10/10. Service is amazing too. The free green tea they gave pairs so well with all the food.
